super spinning top

When my son was about 8, he wanted a certain spinning top that had tons of marketing attached to it - I said no - and he was sad until I brought this spinning top home one day - wow! He was thrilled. Not only was it incredibly fast, but he could customize it! He jazzed it up with metal tacks, and black markers - it was splendid...and most importantly - cool. He even got it to go down stairs - very exciting. This is all to say that this a a fabulous toy for young and old. A small child might need a bit of help at first to thread and wind the top. Lots of fun for all!
